I am looking at petsmart.com and I am really interested in this pond filter. Is this able to be used in a 55gal? Or in an outdoor pond? We are also getting an outdoor pond to house goldfish. The size pond will be around 120-200.

I received my filter yesterday and when I read the information on the box, it is the wrong filter (SunSun CPF-250). This filter can only handle a 2,905 gallon pond. Also, the pump I bought was supposed to be 2,200 g/h. The one I received had no box, no model number and no other identifying information so I don’t know if it is the correct one or not. When I contacted the seller about the mistake, he told me that the one he gave me (2,905 gallons) was the correct one and that a warehouse had made the internal parts thicker and added a quartz sleeve to the uv light so it could be able to handle 7,500 gallons. There is no indication that these changes were made (Box is unopened and has no peeled tape or previous tape, the packaging, paperwork, and manufacturer all say that it is for ponds up to 2,905 gallons). The only thing indicating that this is the correct filter for a 7,500 gallon pond is him telling me it is. Is it possible to increase a filter’s cleaning capacity by 3600 gallons by making the internals thicker and adding a quartz sleeve to the uv light? This sounds like a scam to me……

If you have access to the Aquadyne .60b Bead Filtration System I could use some info. And shortcuts on how to install plus tips on how to use. its got a tank about 33 inches tall and 16 inches wide. A 1 ft tall 1 ft wide pump a pipe that has a valve on one end and splits into two on the other end. a pipe that bends. and a bag that feels like a bunch of beads this is probably packeging material correct me if I’m wrong.

I think the beads are part of the system because it’s a bead filtration system, but how and where do you put the beads?
