In Christ Alone asked:

We have a pond behind our house. Every year it has bad moss, so next year we are going to be using copper sulfate to clear it off. We were thinking of when the pond was frozen, spreading copper sulfate along the top of the ice of half of the pond, then when the ice melts it would distribute throughout the water. Does this sound like a good idea? Please only serious answers. If not this way what is the best way?

I was told my pond skimmer is undersized for my current pond volume. Is this guy just trying to sell me a new skimmer or is the sizing that important?

The planter is about 9 X2 feet and about 2 feet deep. I want to form a small pond in the middle and grow the wheat grass around it but am worried about the pond leaking and the dirt/water putting too much weight on the built in planter. Can anyone advise me on the best way to prevent leakage and also give me the ability to remove the project in case of leakage.

Thank you very much
I know about liners but am really asking for the best layout for the project. Looking forward to more answers and I will be sure to star/ vot for the best answer.

Thank you

Alexander

I want to get rid of blanket weed and algae from my pond. I cannot afford a sophisticated solution to clean the water. Which products can I use without harming my fish.
