I have a beautiful fairy fountain in my pond that has lost some of its paint due to my hosing it down too energetically. She’s lying on her belly, on some stones in the center of the pond, spitting into a shell, and the water spills from the shell into the pond. I would like to repaint her but, of course, don’t want to use anything that will harm my koi or plants. What is a safe paint (and method) to use to repaint pond statuary?

I have a baby painted pond turtle and I want to know how much water he needs and what to feed him. I have pond pellets and he likes rocks to sit on. What other information can you give me? Please respond a.s.a.p. Thank you.

I tryed to put sand but it makes the water go very blury and you cant see the bottom, even after i wash it many times.

I have a 7 year old pump in a 1600 gallon pond with a two foot waterfall. The pump has always worked well but this year when I put it in the pond it had a high pitched whine but worked. The whine got louder the longer it was on. I unplugged it yesterday and today when I tried it - nothing!

I have an 850 gallon pond. It’s new as of last year and we’ve been fighting a battle against string algae all summer. We’ve been using AlgaeFix for the last couple weeks and it’s been helping a bit, but I’m still fishing algae out by hand. We’re having a BBQ this Saturday and I’d really like to do something about the smell since the pond is right next to the deck. Anything I can do as a quick fix so my guests aren’t overcome with the smell of pond/algae?
Forgot to mention I have fish & plants. So chlorine isn’t an option.

I’m building a waterfall that empties into a pond (that’s where the pump and skimmer are.) Some people say that I need to cover the EPDM with rocks - but the sides of the pond are steep, even with the ledges that I dug into them.

Is it okay just to put rocks around the perimeter of the EPDM? Will the EPDM get damaged otherwise?

What other materials besides rocks can I use?

I read that instead of buying a prebuilt pond, I could just dig it how ever deep I want it then line it with a waterproof tarp. Is this possible? I have a limited budget for my garden but I have always wanted a pond. I think it would be great for meditation. Any suggestions?

All my pond fish died. I found a pecan shell in the bottom of the pond, when I drained it. I also found hundreds of tiny red worms in the water, in the algae on the sides of the pond, and in the filters. The plants are doing just fine. How can I get rid of the worms, so I can put fish back in the pond.
